Simone Biles re-announced herself as the greatest American gymnast of all time at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games by claiming her fifth gold medal for Team USA Tuesday. The american gymnast featured in the women's team final alongside her fellow compatriots Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, Hezly Rivera and Sunisa Lee and with the absence of the French gymnasts the crowd has their clear favourite. Many celebrities were in attendance to watch the gymnast sensation claim her eight overall Olympic medal, whilst those who couldn't be in the crowd to support the 27-year-old took to their social media accounts to congratulate her.

Fulham have made another bid for Scott McTominay, offering £23million for the Manchester United midfielder. McTominay's future at Old Trafford is up in the air once again after United rejected a £30m offer from West Ham last summer. A year on, it's understood that United will listen to bids of £25-30m for the Scotland international who has 11 months left on his contract, although United have the option to extend it by another year.

Team GB continued their strong start to the Olympic Games with a bronze medal in the women's double sculls, on Thursday morning. Mathilda Hodgkins-Byrne and Becky Wilde powered through 2000m to claim third place in the event, with New Zealand taking gold and Romania winning silver. Team GB went out hard from the start and led at the 500m mark with Romania taking over by halfway. New Zealand eventually moved into pole position for gold to edge out Romania, but Wilde and Hodgkins Byrne staved off a late challenge from the Netherlands to take bronze.
