A former Chelsea player believes the way the club is currently being run is a 'disgrace'. A consortium fronted by Todd Boehly completed a takeover of the club from Roman Abramovich in 2022, and the Blues have since spent in excess of £1bn on transfers. But results on the pitch have gone backwards, with Chelsea finishing comfortably outside the top four in each of their last two campaigns. They have also been through six different managers - including interim appointments - during this period, with Enzo Maresca the latest man charged with turning the club's fortunes around.
