The two actors, who grew close playing siblings Sansa and Jon Stark onGame of Thrones, evidently struggled while sharing an onscreen smooch in their new movieThe Dreadful.
In abehind-the-scenes video shared byEntertainment Tonight, Turner, 29, and Harington, 39, can be seen kissing in character before playfully retching after the director calls "cut!" The crew can then be heard laughing as the two actors pretend to be sick.

In a July 2025 interview withVogue, Turner jokinglyapologizedtoGame of Thronesfans, saying, "It's really weird for all of us" that she and Harington are playing "lovers" in the new horror film.

Looking at the script forThe Dreadfulbefore shooting, she saw nothing but "kiss, kiss, sex, kiss, sex," she quipped. "I'm like, 'Oh, shoot ... that's my brother.'"

More recently, Harington toldE! Newsthat his intimate scenes with his former onscreen sister were uncomfortable for a different reason.
"It was slightly embarrassing, having to get on an apple box to kiss her because she's about a foot taller than me," hesaidin November 2025. "But other than that, my dignity was pretty intact."

In September 2024, Turner explained toThe Timesthat she was the one whosuggestedtheIndustrystar for the part.
"They were trying to find someone for that role, and I was like, 'You can't not have Kit,'" she said at the time. "It's set around the time of the Wars of the Roses, so we'll probably be floating about in robes on clifftops again."
TheGame of Thronescast has remained close since the HBO fantasy drama's conclusion in 2019. Harington has beenmarriedto costarRose Lesliesince 2018 and they share two children.
The Dreadful, from writer-director Natasha Kermani, also starsMarcia Gay Harden, Laurence O'Fuarain and Jonathan Howard. The Gothic horror drama is in select theaters and on digital Friday, Feb. 20.
