An American influencer who was filmed taking a baby wombat away from its distressed mother in Australia has said she is 'truly sorry' over the incident - while claiming she had received thousands of death threats. Samantha Strable - who also goes by Samantha Jones - was filmed earlier this week gleefully scooping a joey up from the side of a road as a man filming her laughs: 'Just caught a baby wombat.
