An elderly Boston woman died after being mauled by her own dog that went on to attack two police officers. Jeriline Brady McGinnis, 74, was brutally attacked by her pit-bull mix dog inside her Roxbury home on Monday, while her husband sustained injuries trying to save her. When police responded to the gory scene around 5 pm, they discovered a woman in critical condition and her husband with non-fatal injuries, the Boston Police Department told Boston 25 News.
