A would-be kidnapper met some swift street justice - in tony Beverly Hills of all places - when he tried to snatch a toddler away from her father as they took a Sunday stroll in the world-famous southern California neighborhood. In the end, no child was taken, and the deranged reputed kidnapper was dead. It all started on the 100 block of Spalding Drive at around 2:50pm when the unnamed assailant tried to snatch the little girl from her father.
