Israel has tonight launched another series of air strikes in Lebanon after warning that the next phase of its campaign against Hezbollah will begin 'imminently'. Fears of an all-out war in the Middle East are growing as Israel prepares to launch a ground invasion of southern Lebanon in what it is describing as its 'next phases of combat'. British nationals have been urged to leave Lebanon immediately, with Foreign Secretary David Lammy warning the conflict could 'escalate in a major way'.
