The tepid reception afforded her new music was swept aside on Monday as Katy Perry enjoyed her latest European holiday with Orlando Bloom, this time on Italy's Amalfi Coast. The American singer is preparing for the release of her sixth studio album, but an ongoing promotional missive has been overshadowed by the brutal response to its lead single, Women's World. Perry, 39, released the track, billed as an empowering feminist anthem, and its accompanying video in July, but the track was promptly dismissed as unoriginal, hypocritical and formulaic.
