Alexander Zverev found himself ensnared in the talons of Tallon but somehow managed to wriggle free. At 4-1 down in the deciding set the No4 seed was, if not quite half-way out of Paris, at least on the other side of the Seine. But he fought his way back to earn a place in the fourth round of the French Open and deny Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor the win of his life, coming through 3-6, 6-4, 6-2, 4-6, 7-6.
