New Hunger Games Book Sunrise on the Reaping Set to Become a Movie in November 2026
Another Hunger Games movie is on the way. Lionsgate announced June 6 that the newly revealed book from author Suzanne Collins, her fifth in the bestselling series, will get a big-screen adaptation. "Welcome to the Second Quarter Quell. The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping – in theaters November 20, 2026," read a post on Instagram. Francis Lawrence is in talks to direct the movie after having helmed four previous films in the franchise.
