There is still a chance for fans to get their hands on tickets[/caption]

While many fans will be happy watching the games at home, thousands will be heading to Germany in the hopes of seeing a game live.

Uefa have announced that 2.7 million total tickets will or have been on sale for the tournament.

They said 80 per cent of this total are going to fans of the participating nations and the general public.

But how do fans going to get their hands on tickets?

Where can I buy tickets?

Unfortunately, the general sale of tickets has already passed.

However, there is still hope to land some tickets for those for those who have not already.

On Thursday, May 2, an additional 100,000 tickets will go on sale from 10am BST.

The tickets available will include tickets offered for resale via the official resale platform in March/April, tickets made available after the finalisation of stadium configurations and a vast number of restricted-view seats at discounted prices.

The last-minute sale will run on a first-come, first-served basis until all tickets are sold and is expected to be the last chance for fans to purchase tickets to see Euro 2024.

How much will they cost?

Four categories of tickets will be available to purchase, subject to availability.

Group stage tickets for fans in the "Fans First category" will see them charged from €30, with Category 3 being €60, Category 2 €150 and Category 1 €200.

However, the opening match of the tournament between Germany and Scotland will also have a premium price on their tickets.

Fans First tickets will be charged at €50, with Category 3 being €195, Category 2 being €400 and Category 1 being €600.

Prices increase heavily deeper into the tournament.

Tickets will range between €50 to €250 for the Round of 16.

In the Quarter-finals the prices will be from €60 to €300, with the Semi-final tickets being from €80 to €600.

For the final, tickets will range from €95 all the way up to €1,000.

Tickets will then be distributed on the Uefa app near the end of May.
