Amanda Holden has marked what would have been her late son Theo's 13th birthday.

The Britain's Got Talent and radio star, 52, is mum to two daughters: Lexi, 18, and 12-year-old Hollie, with husband Chris Hughes.

Chris and Amanda are also mother and father to son Theo, who was tragically stillborn in 2011 at seven months.

The TV star has spoken openly about the pain and grief she suffered dropping her son, including having to undergo labour with him – and annually she marks the date of Theo's birth together with her family.

On Thursday, Amanda shared a calming photograph of a single candle lit up in the darkness at her house.

She wrote alongside it: 'You'd have turn into a young person as we speak … #Theo.'

Amanda has previously been inundated with messages of help when marking her son's birthday.

On the day he would have turned 11, she shared an inking of his footprints to social media writing that she was 'still grateful you selected us in your journey.'

The likes of Ruth Langsford, Stacey Dooley,and Helen Skelton each took the time to write down supportive feedback on her submit on the time, whereas this time she selected to submit it on her Stories where feedback aren't made public.

In 2018, Amanda narrated documentary Youngster of Mine on stillbirth, and later opened up about her own expertise in a gut-wrenching interview to assist others who could also be going via the identical factor.

She spoke about her 'beyond horrific' ordeal on Pricey NHS Superstars in July 2020, heaping reward on her midwife and good friend Jackie who inspired her to hold Theo once he was born.
