BRUCE Springsteen's mother has died at age 98 as the rock icon shared a heartfelt video of his mom dancing in a scenic background.
The legendary guitarist introduced the demise of his mom, Adele Springsteen, in an Instagram publish on Thursday.



Springsteen captioned the publish with lyrics from his track The Wish: "I keep in mind in the morning mom listening to your alarm clock ring. I'd lie in mattress and take heed to you getting ready for work, the sound of your make-up case on the sink.
"And the women at the workplace all lipstick, perfume and rustling skirts, how proud and glad you all the time seemed walking house from work.
"It ain't no telephone call on Sunday, flowers or a Mother's Day card.
"It aint no house on the hill with a backyard and a nice little yard. I've acquired my scorching rod down on Bond Road I'm older however you'll know me in a look.
"We'll find us a Little rock 'n roll bar and we'll exit and dance."
Adele died on Wednesday, Springsteen revealed. A reason for dying has not been decided.
In July 2021, Springsteen emotionally spoke with Today about his mother's battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Adele's love for dancing and music led her son down the trail to superstardom, turning into a 20-time Grammy Award winner and being a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member.
"My mother loves to bop," Springsteen informed the outlet at the time.
"She grew up within the '40s… (with) the large bands and the swing bands, and that was a time when dancing was an existential act.
'THERE IS ALWAYS A SMILE'
"She's 95, and she or he's 10 years into Alzheimer's, and that's taken rather a lot away from us.
"But the need to dance hasn't left her."
A grieving Springsteen shared how the disease impacted his mom's potential to talk, stand, and eat.
"She will't converse. She will't stand. She will't feed herself," he informed At the moment.
"However when she sees me, there's all the time a smile. Still a smile. And there's nonetheless a kiss.
'PART OF MOM'S SPIRIT'
"And there's a sound, which she makes when she sees me. It's simply the sound, however I do know it means 'I really like you.'
