Save this story Save Story Save this story Last night, the 2026 CFDA Awards in New York City proved yet again to be a star-studded affair: Everyone from Hailey Bieber and Zoë Kravitz to host Keke Palmer (all clad in gold!) turned out for the event, which celebrates American designers. And there was an additional star in the mix who shimmered in gold, too: British singer PinkPantheress, who hit the step and repeat in custom Coach.
PinkPantheress has been diving even deeper into the world of high fashion of late, so attending this year’s CFDAs felt like the perfect opportunity to further experiment with her own approach to red carpet dressing. “This year, my team and I have been able to establish a fun world and storyline through our styling of tour runs,” PinkPantheress tells Vogue . “Through these experiences, my love and understanding of fashion has grown exponentially. It’s really fun to dive into an art form with such an everyday necessity as fashion.”
Working with Coach designer Stuart Vevers, PinkPantheress wanted to lean into the night’s celebratory and upbeat feeling—so they collaborated on a striking look that, well, resembled a golden present. “I worked with Stuart on a look inspired by the spring 2027 runway ,” says the star. “There was little we changed, as it already captured exactly the vibe we were going for. It has the effortless cool of ’90s dressing, relaxed, but entirely my own.”
The golden lamé bra top and floor-length skirt were punctuated with a big black tulle bow at the back. “The oversized bow adds a playful, celebratory touch, while their signature detailing brings in a more refined element,” says PinkPantheress. “It feels personal and a little unexpected, with a sensibility that feels true to my style.” She also accessorized with a custom gold Tabby 26 bag by the label. “It brought everything together,” she says.
As for some of the musician’s favorite moments of the night? That would be hanging out with Vevers and running into some old friends. “I bumped into my friend Keith [Herron], who runs the brand Advisry, and had a great chinwag with him,” she says.
Post-CFDAs, PinkPantheress is taking a little ‘her time’—so the red carpet serves (and any new music prospects) will be on a momentary pause. “I’ve been dabbling in some artistic pursuits outside music, which have been super rewarding and taking the majority of my time,” says PinkPantheress. “But now that we’re in November, I’m excited for some at-home movie nights and staying inside for a while. Really excited to take a hefty little break.”
