According to ESPN, Toney has an ankle injury and could miss out on the No. 1 Hurricanes' trip to South Bend, though he's "expected to press and attempt to play."

Toney is second among all receivers in college football with 73 catches and is one of only three players with more than 1,000 receiving yards. His 13 receiving touchdowns are only behind Oregon State WR Jesse Legree's 14 TD catches.
