Maarten Vandevoordt produced 11 saves today, the highest number of saves in a single match so far in the Bundesliga.

Luis Diaz was electric today. He got the hat-trick his performance deserved. Kane and Olise were potent up front as well.

That's all, folks. Thanks a bunch for staying with us. The big one is up next: a home match against Arsenal. Bayern did beat them 1-0 before but that was under much different circumstances. Can the Bavarians win it? Maybe, but we'll have to find out in a few days. Speak to you all in a bit.

90+3' — Urbig saves twice to deny Leipzig.

90+2' — Goal. Bayern somehow lets one in.

90' — Boey shoots weakly at Vandevoordt. Three minutes of stoppage time added on.

86' — Brajan Gruda fires wide. It's not Leipzig's night.

82' — Seiwald's shot is a weak one, straight at Urbig again.

78' — Leipzig register their first shot on target in the entire match. Urbig saved it easily.

75' — Olise and Gnabry miss sitters one after another.

69' — TOR! Díaz gets his hat-trick off an assist from Olise from the short corner. Bayern has 6!

67' — Olise's subdued effort is collected by Vandevoordt.

51' — Konrad Laimer is given a yellow card for his challenge on Antonio Nusa.

47' — TOR! Kane provides yet another assist for Díaz, who cuts inside and curls it low beyond Vandevoordt!

That is more like it from Bayern. The pressing and movement is on point in that first half.

Despite conceding three goals, Maarten Vandevoordt has prevented several Bayern goals with his saves. Leipzig could have been like 7-0 down if it weren't for him.

Harry Kane chose to be a playmaker for the first half. Maybe he'll turn goalscorer in the second half?

45+1' — Kane is just offside in an attempt to beat Vandeoordt.

45' — Two minutes of stoppage time is added on.

44' — Kim knocks Rocco Reitz over and gets a yellow card for the foul.

29' — Michael Olise ran into the box with only Vandevoordt to beat, but the Belgian stands in the way of a third Bayern goal.

26' — TOR! Bayern goes 2-0 up! Díaz turns provider this time as Aleksandar Pavlović is played through and finishes superbly inside the area.

22' — Saibari and Kane have good chances to score. Saibari's shot got saved by Vandevoordt, while Kane fired wide in the follow up.

19' — Kane pounces on a loose ball and plays Dayot Upamecano through on goal. The defender saw his shot saved by Vandevoordt.

18' — Díaz strays offside in the build up to a scoring opportunity.

12' — TOR! Joshua Kimmich chips the ball over the entire Leipzig defence and Luis Díaz is there to finish the chance. Is he back? Maybe.

5' — Nathaniel Brown deflects a shot behind for a corner. Bayern deals with the ensuing corner.

2' — Luis Diaz fumbles his shot, but the ball fell to Harry Kane whose shot is saved by Maarten Vandevoordt.

Kickoff! — LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Lineups are out! Several midweek starters retain their place in the starting XI. Jonas Urbig, Kim Min-jae, and Nathaniel Brown all start this match along with Ismael Saibari. Alphonso Davies and Lennart Karl sit on the bench.

Bayern Munich fell short in the Champions League, slumping to a 3-3 draw and saw Michael Olise get suspended just before Arsenal. Smarting from that horror show, the Bavarians welcome RB Leipzig in a clash between 3rd and 5th place in the Bundesliga. The Lawnballers enter this game with a spring in their step, having beaten Eintracht Frankfurt 6-0 last week; Die Roten Bullen scored twice in five minutes and lead 4-0 at the break, a clear indication of their quality.

Bayern on the other hand hasn't won a Bundesliga match since the 7-0 win over Union Berlin just before the international break. A team like Bayern should not be going almost a month without a league win. This match is the chance to correct that.

Bayern wins 3-0. Bayern will channel the anger of not winning in midweek and not having Olise against Arsenal and dominate Leipzig. Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Serge Gnabry off the bench will score.
