While walking around the star-studded Crypto.com Arena, Noah gushed over the various music superstars in attendance, fromQueen LatifahandJustin BiebertoMiley CyrusandBad Bunny.

However, while Noah had plenty of praise for the who's who of pop music, he also had some shade for Minaj, who's raised eyebrows among fans for her political alignment with President Trump.

"Nicki Minaj is not here," Noah said. "She is still at the White House withDonald Trumpdiscussing very important issues."

Noah then went on to impersonate Trump in a hypothetical debate with Minaj about whose buttocks is bigger. The hip-hop superstar has previously rapped about her derriere, most notably on the 2014 hit "Anaconda."

"Actually Nicki, I have the biggest a--. Everybody's saying it, Nicki," Noah quipped, before throwing in a quick reference to Minaj's rap rival,Cardi B. "I know they say it's you, but it's me. WAP, WAP, WAP. Look at it, baby."

USA TODAY has reached out to the White House and Minaj's representatives for comment.

Minaj wasn't the only public figure skewered during Noah's hosting gig.

Noah took aim at President Trump for hisproposed acquisition of Greenland, as well as late financier and sex offenderJeffrey Epstein.

While commenting onLauryn Hill's much-anticipated performance, Noah seemingly alluded to Trump's controversial ties to Epstein: "Back in 1999, the president had had a sex scandal, people thought computers were about to destroy the world and Diddy was arrested. Boy, how times have changed."

The Grammys host delivered a more biting jab later in the show afterBillie Eilishwon the song of the year award for "Wildflower."

"Wow, that is a Grammy that every artist wants, almost as much as Trump wants Greenland," Noah said, "which makes sense because Epstein's island is gone. He needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton. I told you it's my last year [hosting]. What are you going to do about it?"

Nicki Minaj becomes Trump ally with public appearances

Minaj solidified her allyship with the Trump administration in December when she sat down withconservative figure Erika KirkatTurning Point USA'sAmericaFest conference in Phoenix, praising both Trump andVice President JD Vancefor their relatability.

"I have the utmost respect and admiration for our president. I don't even know if he knows this, but he has given so many people hope that there's a chance to beat the bad guys and to win and to do it with your head held high and your integrity intact," Minaj said at the time.

Nicki Minaj, left, appears alongside President Donald Trump onstage as he delivers remarks during the Treasury Department's Trump Accounts Summit at Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 28, 2026.

Minaj joined Trump on Jan. 28 for his Trump Accounts Summit, an event hosted by the Treasury Department. The summit centered on spreading awarenessabout "Trump Accounts,"anew pilot programfrom the administration that will give children born after Jan. 1, 2025, and before Dec. 31, 2028, investment accounts with a one-time deposit of $1000.
