Instead, the third-year pro made an unfathomable mistake near the goal-line that negated the score. After breaking free from the defense, Demercado slowed down as he approached the end-zone. He then appeared to reach the ball forward just ahead of the goal-line. Week 1: Detroit Lions wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa (18)makes a catch for a touchdownagainst the Green Bay Packers during the fourth quarter at Lambeau Field. The play was originally ruled an incomplete pass, but the call was overturned. Despite TeSlaa's effort, the Packers won the game 27-13. In the process, Demercado lost control of the ball just before it crossed the goal-line.
