Christian Horner has released a press release after texts associated to the investigation into his alleged 'inappropriate behaviour' have been supposedly leaked.

Horner had been underneath investigation for a number of weeks after a female employee of the Pink Bull Components 1 group accused him of 'inappropriate and controlling behaviour',& claims the team principal has always denied.

On Wednesday, ahead of the& season opening race in Bahrain, Red Bull announced that the investigation was over and 'the grievance has been dismissed'.

They added: 'The investigation report is confidential and accommodates the personal info of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation, and subsequently we won't be commenting further out of respect for all concerned.'

Nevertheless, on Thursday evening, WhatsApp messages and images, which the Metro have seen, supposedly associated to the investigation have been leaked to the media and F1 personnel.

Responding to this, Horner has released the next assertion: 'I can't touch upon anonymous hypothesis, but to reiterate I have all the time denied the allegations.

'I revered the integrity of the unbiased investigation and absolutely cooperated with it each step of the best way.

'It was a radical and truthful investigation carried out by an unbiased specialist barrister, and it has concluded dismissing the grievance made. I stay absolutely targeted on the beginning of the season.'

Earlier in the day, Horner, husband of former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, stated: 'I'm just pleased that the process is over. I obviously can't comment about it.

'I'm happy to be right here in Bahrain with the staff targeted on the season forward. The workforce has never been stronger.'

The brand new F1 season gets underway this weekend in Bahrain, with Lewis Hamilton setting the pace early on while Red Bull and star driver Max Verstappen struggled.

Nevertheless, the Horner debacle has overshadowed the build-up, while several of his fellow staff principals have referred to as for larger transparency in the investigation.

'On the finish of the day there's a woman in an organisation that has spoken to HR and stated there is a matter and it was investigated and yesterday the sport has acquired a message, "it's all fantastic. We've looked at it".

'I consider that with the game as a worldwide sport, on such important subjects, it needs extra transparency and I'm wondering what the game's position is? We are rivals, we are a workforce and we will have our personal personal opinions or not.

'However it's extra like a common reaction or motion that we as a sport want. We have to assess what is true in that state of affairs, what's mistaken.

'We're being asked questions as rivals here and are we speaking as rivals? Are we talking with the best moral strategy, with the values based mostly on the speculations which are out there?

'However I simply merely assume that as a sport, we can't afford to go away issues within the opaque on essential subjects like this as a result of it's going to catch us out ultimately.

'We're in an excellent transparent world ultimately, things are going to happen and I feel we now have to. The organisation has the obligation to say, "Properly, we've looked at it and it's okay after which we will move on".

'And I feel it's typically very brief sighted to attempt to suppress it but [I am] not saying this has occurred.

'We're standing from the surface and just taking a look at statements or press releases or timelines. It simply seems that it's a bit not as trendy as issues go on this world, in the actual world on the market. However perhaps in Formulation 1, we just have a bit of drawback and we expect that's okay.'
